Mindy Romero's Auto-Biography
Mindy Romero is senior manager of public relations for Landor Associates, responsible for leveraging the firm's spokespeople, client work, and experience across industries and practices to elevate Landor's profile in the media.
Mindy led the public relations initiatives behind Allen Adamson’s BrandSimple: How the Best Brands Keep It Simple and Succeed and BrandDigital: Simple Ways Top Brands Succeed in the Digital World. Partnering with WPP sister agencies, Cohn & Wolfe and Penn, Schoen & Berland, Mindy oversaw the successful relaunch of Landor’s ImagePower® surveys, which gauge consumer perceptions on brand-related issues. Mindy also manages Landor’s global relationship with the Economist Conferences group, taking part in the content, logistics, and marketing development of events in New York, Shanghai, Dubai, and Beijing.
After graduating from college in 2003, Mindy became a marketing associate for Landor, working with marketing communication and new business teams across the Landor, Young & Rubicam, and WPP networks. Mindy began her career at Landor in the human resources department as an intern while in high school. Through the years she has gained deep institutional knowledge working as needed in various departments, including Latin America business development and project management.
Mindy is a native New Yorker and received a BA in communications from the College of Mount Saint Vincent, New York. She is Spanish bilingual and fluent in Italian, having studied in Rome for a semester while in college.
