As an account supervisor at CooperKatz, Lesley Weiner plays a key role on several client account teams including Zipcar, The Association of National Advertisers (ANA) and MSN. She is an integral part of the CooperKatz Cogence® team, and often counsels clients on effective social media outreach. She also supports company-wide research, brainstorming and media outreach.

Since joining CooperKatz in June 2002, Ms. Weiner has participated in the planning and execution of numerous special events and communications programs. Past CooperKatz clients and experiences include: supporting the “cyber-launches” of Flip.com and ShopVogue.TV; ongoing public relations support for WeatherBug, Waterfront Media and Everydayhealth.com, and VEET Depilatories; and special initiatives and events support for Carrier Corporation’s 100th anniversary of the invention of modern air conditioning, the Civic Alliance to Rebuild Downtown New York’s “Listening to the City” town hall event, Canon’s Annual Celebrity Golf Challenge, Otis Elevator Corporation’s 150th anniversary of the safety elevator, and the launch of the Otis NextStep escalator.

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Ms. Weiner interned at PR21 in New York, where she worked with clients such as Johnson & Johnson’s Clean & Clear, Fossil and Whirlpool. She also supported teams in the not-for-profit and the new media groups, such as the Music For Youth Foundation and the New York New Media Association accounts.

Ms. Weiner holds a bachelor of science degree in public relations from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
