Jeff Weir's Auto-Biography

Formerly of Sloane and Company.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, a Master of Arts in Global Marketing Communication and Advertising, and more than seven years of corporate and agency experience, I am responsible for the management of the public relations, marketing and branding activities of the companies I represent. My clients and colleagues continuously look to me for informed counsel and guidance. For my clients, I research and develop proactive stories for the media, manage expert speaking opportunities, plan and budget account activities and create the communications strategies around crisis situations. Internally, I manage and lead multiple account teams and provide leadership to junior executives.

In addition, I have cultivated relationships with a number of influential journalists, leading to the successful placement of multiple print and broadcast feature stories. I am equally comfortable being the spokesperson on a major crisis as I am repositioning a company through proactive media outreach and corporate branding.
