Chris Kermoian leads overall Marketing and Business Development efforts for ProQuo. He brings over a decade of experience at consumer Internet and technology companies. Most recently, Chris served as Vice President of Product Management and Internet Marketing at Become.com, where he joined as employee #5 and helped define and grow an award-winning Internet service for shoppers.

Prior to Become.com, Chris held senior roles at AltaVista and Overture Services (which was acquired by Yahoo! in 2003 and renamed Yahoo! Search Marketing). At AltaVista, he led Product Management and Product Marketing functions and was responsible for guiding search engine functionality, search-related products, user experience, advertiser programs, and syndication programs. During this time, he also led the creation and growth of new business services from inception to over 30,000 worldwide customers. Chris has been a frequent speaker on search engine issues and search marketing programs.

Before joining AltaVista, Chris held Product Management and Marketing roles at Sun Microsystems in the Solaris Software and Java Software areas. Chris was formerly a nuclear submarine officer in the Navy and worked in the Pentagon as military aide to a Navy Admiral. Chris has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
