Chris Bailey's Auto-Biography

Former Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of GeoTrust (Recently purchased by VeriSign for $125 Million)

Chris was responsible for GeoTrust's technology vision and product development activities with strategic partners, evaluating security technologies and market opportunities for GeoTrust, and also managing the Company's advanced technology engineering group. Chris co-founded the company after acquiring technology from Equifax Secure, where Chris was AVP of digital certificate services. While at Equifax, he helped set the company's strategic direction and manage Equifax Secure's digital certificate services.

Chris' prior experiences include managing an e-commerce solutions division of Renaissance Worldwide and working as an independent management consultant for companies such as IBM and Equifax. A committed entrepreneur, he has also founded two companies.

Chris holds an M.B.A. in marketing and strategy from Emory University and a B.S. in finance and economics from the University of South Carolina.
