About Yokel

Yokel, Inc. is a search engine that makes local shopping easier than ever before. With one of the most comprehensive Internet directories of local stores and products, Yokel enables shoppers to quickly find what they are looking for in the town or city closest to them.

Try Yokeling a product. Type in a search term (such as "Maytag dishwasher", "HLR5667W", or "jogging stroller") as well as your geographic location, and Bingo, we'll display a lists of local, real-world retailers who carry the product you are looking for, sorted by proximity.

The Company was founded by experienced Internet and search veterans Scott Randall and Don Zereski. Frustrated with the lack of local shopping information provided on the web, they put their heads together and developed Yokel.

The website is still in beta, and we are still building out our site and our database of stores, but do let us know what you think by sending email to feedback@yokel.com.
