In October 2008, it was announced that Pepsi would be redesigning their logo and re-branding many of their products. Pepsi, Diet Pepsi and Pepsi Max will use all lower-case fonts for name brands, Mountain Dew will be renamed "Mtn Dew," and Diet Pepsi Max will be re-branded as Pepsi Max.
Pepsi was first made in the 1890s by pharmacist Caleb Bradham in New Bern, North Carolina, when it was called "Brad's Drink."

I think the new 8pack stinks--not only is it more expensive for less but you have to carry more of them (wasting packaging)
