About ALDI Group
ALDI has about 900 stores in more than 25 US states, but Germany (where ALDI has a network of some 4,200 stores) accounts for about two-thirds of sales. Brothers and co-founders Theo and Karl Albrecht own the company.
ALDI entered the U.S. market in 1976, with a handful of stores in southeastern Iowa. Now, over 1,000 U.S. ALDI stores are spreading the savings from Kansas to the East Coast.

Seems that with all the savings they fail to mention that all the profits fly right out of the store and head for Germany. I think I will choose to keep my money in the American economy and help AMERICANS keep thier jobs and feed their families. Plenty of stores like Kroger and Meijer offer terrific savings and they recirculate their profits in the USA!!

I dont care if Germany makes a profit as long as they employ Americans and buy and sell American products that normally wouldnt sell because some Amerians couldnt buy them at the inflated price you may see at a Kroeger Etc. I say build more!
