Grasshopper.com Mails Chocolate-Covered Bugs to 5,000 Entrepreneurs

One of the most unique viral marketing schemes we've seen since the HBO / Trueblood viral campaign arrived in the mail yesterday.
Grasshopper, formerly known as GotVMail, is rebranding its image with a unique nation-wide campaign.
The Needham,Massachussets.-based company sent packages of chocolate covered grasshoppers to 5,000 of the most influential entrepreneurs in America, including Labitat and Marketingshift.com founder, Jason Dowdell.
FedEx delivered the package yesterday and we sampled the chocolate covered critters today. Our taste buds didn't detect the bug, it just tasted like a Nestle crunch.
A tag on the package directed us to grasshopper.com/idea, which features an inspiring video, which calls for a reawakening to child-like creativity and imagination to spark American entrepreneurship.
