CBSsports.com Brackets Facebook App:Track the NCAA & Eat Free Arbys

When March Madness rolls and the road to the Final Four begins, my friends ask for  advice for their bracket. As a life-long Duke fan and a basketball junkie, I warn them that no team is a lock and not to dwell on their choices, because your gut is usually right.

Arbys online marketing hopes you devote less thought to the matchups, and more  attention to their new Roast Burger, which is plastered across the CBSsports.com Brackets App for Facebook.With Arbys "Smack vs. The Smacked" app, you can "Roast" friends with an e-mailed taunt about their favorite team.

Following a week of conference tournaments, millions of sports fans tune into selection sunday, one of the annual highights for CBS. Now, social networks hope to capitalize on the momentum. John McCain has his own bracket group, to can compare your picks the Arizona Senator. Another interesting aspect of the App is the Top Favorite Teams and Top Despised teams. UNC leads the list of favorite teams with 41,671 Fans.

UNC's ranking comes as no surprise,since the Tar Heels are a top-five team with more bandwagon fans than any team in the country, (including the 16-18-year old males who drive low-rider Honda Civics with tinted windows.Why are those types ALWAYS wearing a UNC hat?)

UNC is  followed by Duke with 27,904 Fans, Kansas, with 22,150 fans, Wisconsin, with 14,352 fans, and Kentucky,with 12,155 fans. (There are plenty more who would vote if only  more than 12,155 computers existed in the entire "commonwealth.")

Apparently, there's no middle ground on Duke, because the Blue Devils are the most despized team,with a staggering total of 79,059 Haters.(Jealousy).UNC is the second most despised team with only about half the amount of Duke's enemies, 38,520.

The University of Florida is the third most despised team, with 11,387 haters. I assume that hatred remains from the Gators' two championships in 07-08. Otherwise, they're too pathetic to hate this year. Ohio State, also known as "Runner-up University" is the fourth-most despised,with 9,553 (Probably all the people who lost money betting on the Buckeyes) and Kansas,the 2008 champs, are fifth, with 8,718 haters.

CBS' app also tallies and posts the number of fans for every NCAA Divison 1 team.
