CBS & MobiTV Bank on March Madness iPhone App
As millions of fans gear-up for the opening round of the NCAA men's basketball tournament, many of them will be watching the games from a new perspective this year- their iPhone.
Evidently, many iPhone users are willing to pay $5 for an App that requires a Wi-Fi connection and won't function in two weeks.
With the March Madness On Demand Ap, fans can watch each game in every round, all the way to the championship game at Ford Field in Detroit.
Developed by MobiTV and CBS, the March Madness app is among the top five most popular in the App Store this week, with 139 "reviews", despite the fact that the first game hasn't started yet. Obviously, all the comments at this point are speculation. (The first game starts at 12:20 today).
I'll probably download the App, because I want to see the quality of the image and the stream. What about you? Do you think the March Madness iPhone App is worth the $5 price tag?
