Big Mac Secret Sauce Bottle Looks Like Starbucks Frappucino
Next time your order a Big Mac at McDonalds (NYSE:MCD) Take a close look at the new packagng. Jason pointed out a funny aspect on the art.
Scan the top perimeter and you'll notice the pics of the Big Mac ingredients, including a jar of the Big Mac secret sauce. Jason pointed it out to me and asked, What's the first thing you think of when you see that?
"
My immediate response was:"A Starbucks Frappucino." We both laughed and Jason reasoned that must be they both make him run to the toilet. In college,I called them "Crappucinos" because I could never make it through my morning class without an emergency dash to the nearest men's room.
The uncanny resemblance is ironic, funny considering McDonalds "Four Dollars is Dumb" attack ad in its coffee war against Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX) .I have one question for McDonalds CMO Mary Dillon, is there a NEW ingredient to the secret sauce?
