Youtube Users Post Videos of Skynet Research Robots & Security Cams
More Skynet Research Videos are surfacing on Youtube, but the latest ones are user submitted. It's the next marketing phase in a viral campaign for Terminator Salvation. Evidently, there was a link in the Robotic Community on skynetresearch.com, where you could request a Module Model 101 Robot, but the supply has been depleted. Packages were shipped with instructions to each recipient:
Individuals who have received the Skynet Research Enhancement Module - Model 101 are encouraged to continue submitting videos showing the increased level of performance and efficiency it provides to consumer grade electronics. Skynet Research will scan these submissions for appropriate examples to display in suitable locations.
Owners of Comic Book stores were also targeted in the viral marketing campaign. Several of the new videos feature owners from Keith's Comics in Dallas, Samurai Comics ( Chandler, AZ) and Atomic Comics (Phoenix, AZ) bragging about their security enhancement. At last count, 46 stores across the nation installed the state-of-the-art security cameras which are "capable observing the entire spectrum from infrared to ultraviolet wavelengths, assuring it can detect the unlawful displacement of any item at any time."
Of all the submitted videos, Keith Comics takes the prize for creativity, because he's already posted two videos just to set the stage for his series. In the first video, he's attacked by a robber and he posts a follow-up video to talk about the new security system he's ordering. That's exactly the kind of viral marketing T4 is looking for.
As for the actual movie, it stars a familiar action hero- Christian Bale, star of the blockbuster, Dark Knight, who will play the role of John Connor you can watch the full trailer at the official terminator salvation site.
