Nascar.com, Yahoo Let Fans Vote for Favorite Daytona 500 Commercial
Nascar's Daytona 500 has been called the Super Bowl of Motor Sports, and for good reason. During the past decade, the league enjoyed rapid growth in viewership and overall popularity.
To capitalize on the spreading fan base, Nascar and Yahoo created the Daytona 500 Commercial Showcase, where fans can replay and vote for their favorite commercials. It's a win-win for fans and advertisers, because the brands get extra exposure, and the fans have instant access to video they can share with friends on social networks.

Okay, let me get this straight. If your name is Leffler, and you’re just one of the regular folks, you get a 5-lap penalty for what was perceived by NASCAR officials to be “aggressive driving”. But if your name is Earnhardt Jr., one of the special folks, you get an “ata-boy” for what was obvious and reckless “aggressive driving”.
I guess NASCAR officials are like our congressmen. They don’t have a problem overlooking the corruption and/or criminal acts of their own. It was real smooth how the “Hollywood Hotel”, especially DW, danced around the issue. At least now we know that NASCAR; like Congress has two sets of rules, one for the regular folks and another for the special folks. You might be surprised to find that creditability is an issue that most regular folks care about.
The only one that showed any class was Vickers. Earnhardt’s petticoat was showing during his interview.
