VOIP Breeds Pay Per Call
While VOIP services are rightly making the phone companies nervous, PPC companies should also be getting the sweats.Consumers and businesses are embracing VOIP quickly, and after the infrastructure and comfort level are in place, the move to pay per call will be easy.
Talking to a live human is still the best way to gauge interest and nail a sale, so companies that have cut their costs with VOIP will want to leverage their investment by taking customer calls via VOIP.
Your average web folks are becoming comfortable with VOIP through Skype, which power eBay's pay per call service, and AOL's new VOIP service, which will loosen them up for ordering products via pay per call.
