I'm Not Dead I'm Just Dormant
Contrary to popular belief, I'm not dead. I am however not feeling well and neither are any of my girls. I don't even remember when it started [Shannon said it was last Sunday, 2 Sundays ago] but it seems like forever, that my family has been running fevers, having green snotty noses, not sleeping well, throwing up, yada yada yada. On top of all of that Shannon's gotten really sick over the past two days, I haven't felt much better, and our morale is at [quite possibly] an all-time low. It feels like we've been put through Hell and we're not sure when it will be over.Needless to say, posting is on the bottom of my priority list right now and thus there have been no posts for a few days. Geesh, it's been an entire week. There are so many interviews I've got in the works, so many cool things happening I want to talk about, so many projects I want to launch, so much work to be done, but alas my gas tank is empty. The past 6 months have been a very dark period for my family. Even though Shannon and I are closer now than we ever have been and our family is stronger than ever, we've had serious adversity to overcome and we're not quite out of the woods just yet. I am so thankful for the love and support of our friends and family. I'm thankful for this period in my life because it's shown me who my true friends are. So to all of you I consider friends, family and supporters, thank you!
Well, I'll be back soon, not sure how long, but soon. Maybe I'll post some short thoughts later today but for now I'm gonna focus on getting my family and I healthy again. Peace out my ninjas!
