NetFlix & Tivo To Offer Downloadable Movies?

I was wondering how long it would take Netflix to implement the downloadable movie solution we've all been waiting for. I'd be the first to start downloading the movies since I currently have a 4 week past due bill for no less than 5 movies at Blockbuster.

Net Flix and Tivo "plan to unveil a simple but significant partnership that could shake up the media world. Subscribers who belong to both services will be able to download their Netflix DVDs over the Internet directly into the TiVo boxes in their homes, instead of receiving them in the mail. Spokespeople at the companies refused to comment on what they called rumor. But an insider who was close to the negotiations says the straightforward partnership is all but a done deal, pending only the approval of the TiVo board this week"

Here are a couple movie rental problems this would solve for me an several others out there.
1. No more late fees
2. No more wandering aimlessly around Blockbuster asking Shannon
me: "What do you want to see?"
Shannon: "I don't know what do you want to see?"
me: "I don't know..."
3. No more fights about who was suppose to return the movies.
4. No more being snubbed by arrogant little Blockbuster employees.
5. No more hearing, "dude that's a chick flick" from the arrogant little Blockbuster employees.
6. No more, "Honey, where did Piper put that DVD?"
7. No more having to leave the house to get a movie, that's freaking awesome!
