Compete In Olympics: Yes, Blog The Olympics: NO!

It appears there are even more legal ramifications finding there way out of the woodwork as blogs continue to gain popularity.

"The International Olympic Committee is barring competitors, coaches, support personnel and other officials from blogging from Athens (unless an athlete had a personal Web site not set up specifically for the Olympics), The Associated Press reports."

Note the emphasis on athletes having a web site set up not geared specifically for the Olympics. This is just another area in which the deep pocketed Media owners are going to blows with the internet and the new channels it's creating.
