Long Range WiFi on The Cheap
I came across a
wifi hardware manufacturer that produces some remarkable stuff at incredibly cheap prices. One of which is this wifi signal repeater. It plugs right into your existing wireless router and adds a range of up to 3.5 miles from the base. Beauty of it is that it's only $325 (antenna optional).
What this means to me is that I can set up one of these Sputnik AP 200's on my house and conduct a little business with Jimmy Buffet at the beach. On second thought, maybe I shouldn't buy one. I've heard stories about what goes on in Margaritaville and I'm not sure my boss would approve.
